I am such a romantic at heart... I have every scrap of paper that my husband has ever written me a note on. Of all the amazing lovestories in the world, I think mine is one of the best! I guess that's why I love weddings so much. At every wedding we photograph, when the minister says, "You may now kiss the bride"...(After we get THE shot) I always smile up at my husband and give him a wink. I get to spend the most romantic day of someone's life, with the most romantic guy in my life... what better place in the world to be, than at a wedding, where love is in every single little detail...and I want to photograph those details so that when a couple looks back over their wedding day, they remember the story and the feelings, and of course the love...and can say, "Of all the Lovestories in the world, mine is my favorite." I’m so excited that you are interested in having Photography by Dena be a part of your wedding day! I still get chills when I am sitting with a bride, discussing the thought of the bride and groom seeing each other before the wedding, for a "First Look." (Just ask any of my brides, they will tell you I really do get goosey bumps when I describe that moment!) We all cry and then giggle a bit at how silly emotionally invested I get! I have lots to offer with a low stress, friend style. Having photographed well over 500 weddings over the years, I am a thousand percent confident when I say that there isn't a lighting style I can't handle. I love naturally lit, candid, artistic images, but I can professionally light formal group shots and reception halls and make them look beautiful too!
